LacZ Expression Data

IMPC alleles may optionally be used to assess bacterial beta-galactosidase (lacZ) activity to determine tissue-specific gene expression in embryos and/or adults.

Image lacZ data can be found:

  • in the Gene pages, section “Associated images”
  • as a text file in the FTP site, the directory “results” features a dedicated lacZ expression report

Images are available to view in our image comparator, where you can see images for wildtype and mutant mice side by side.

Associated images section in the Cib2 gene page.
